Tremendous response to Tito’s eye camp in Arpora
A one-day eye camp organised by the Tito’s Foundation, at Shri Chauranginath Foundation, Sunday February 17, received tremendous response.
Around 200-people were given consultation and vision glasses free of cost.
Tito’s Foundation Director Ricardo Joseph D’Souza told Goan Times that Tito’s charity has been organising such camps in the past and will continue to do so in other parts of the constituency.
“We have got so much from the society and it is time we give something back to society. This is out service to the society,” he said.
D’Souza said he was glad to see the response as the senior citizens and housewife’s got their eyes checked.
“People don’t normally get time to go to Goa Medical College or other government hospitals and private hospitals have become too pricey. Hence we decided to bring treatment to the door-steps of the people,” he said.
Mr D’Souza thanked Fabiano, Dr Rohan and his team besides other volunteers from Arpora, who came in large numbers to support.
